With a seasoned pedigree in assembling and managing interdisciplinary teams from physiology, physical sciences, consultant physicians, data science and medical device marketing, Garret co-founded BlueBridge Technologies in 2006. Through his background in R&D, product development and engineering, Garret’s main expertise lies in helping biopharmaceutical and medical device companies build regulated digital health solutions across the full lifecycle. When he’s not commercialising digital therapeutics, he can be found perfecting connected drug delivery devices and combination products associated with software as a medical device, smart wearables and implantable sensors.
Biochemistry Ph.D. graduate who has spent the last 23 years working in Software Development across life science industries. Career includes over 10 years’ experience managing globally distributed software development teams of up to 50 people across multiple geographically dispersed development teams. The products have been developed for users in both the primary healthcare and research domains. Extensive experience in clinical trial process and the evolution and use of digital technologies in clinical trials. Division Head of a large cancer diagnostics company, Leica Biosystems, working with multiple cross functional teams including hardware, product management, quality assurance and customer support. This includes working with senior leadership and product management to help set and implement corporate product strategy.
Rory joined BlueBridge Technologies in 2021, with extensive experience in international career spanning cloud computing, data networking, healthcare technology, and telecommunications. At BlueBridge, Rory holds responsibility for the overall technology direction and systems development of the company. In his previous roles he progressed through software development, systems engineering and technical sales to senior technical leadership with a focus on product innovation and technical excellence. Rory has previously held senior industry positions both as director and chairperson of international technical standards committees / technology fora and has been a frequent speaker at conferences and customer events. Rory holds a BE(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College, Dublin.
Ronan has been our CFO since January 2018. Since then, he has helped guide BlueBridge Technologies through considerable change. Besides a focus on the finances of the company, Ronan manages the commercial aspects of the business. With a background in Corporate Finance & Venture Capital/Private Equity, he also has 20 years commercial experience in internationally-focused technology businesses across a variety of industries. Ronan is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Finance. He is also a Graduate of the Leadership for Growth Program from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In his spare time he can be seen on the roads at the weekend like other ‘mamils’.
Nicola is a senior HR and business leader with substantial experience across technology, professional services, financial services, utilities, media, and the public sector. She has worked with BlueBridge Technologies since 2019, supporting the leadership team on people strategy, organisational development, and business transformation.
Her areas of expertise include organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and executive coaching. Nicola partners with organisations to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that enable cultural and business change.
Nicola holds a Degree in Business and Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources, and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers.
Killian joined BlueBridge Technologies in 2016 after obtaining his Master of Engineering in Healthcare Technologies. Since then, he has worked on electronics projects as an embedded programmer, and Medical Device projects in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, risk management, requirements engineering, cybersecurity, and system testing. Since day one with us, he has been heavily involved in Quality Management System maintenance. A keen interest to learn something about everything, he’ll readily throw himself into any situation where he can lend a hand.
Since joining BlueBridge Technologies in 2009. With an expertise in the development of digital medical devices and for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), Kerry has worked tirelessly to help deliver on the promise of Digital Health and working with rock star teams to bring connectivity to Medical Devices. In the years since, Kerry has guided the business towards long-term, sustainable growth. Passionate about providing strategic planning, product ideas and industry data analysis for telehealth/healthcare start-ups and multinationals focused on market entry, Kerry is also a keen enthusiast for all things fun and new and is an art historian wannabe on the side.
Collaborative and versatile senior program manager. 25 years’ experience leading the development and delivery of software running in production at over 1000 enterprise customers in multiple industries (incl. Pharma, Telco, Financial Services, Insurance), via roles in MNCs (IBM , AmDocs, Lucent), SMEs (Kainos) and startups (AmBeo).Pivoted to healthcare via BioInnovate Fellowship and led a multi-award winning COVID-19 project. Most recently led the delivery of a SaMD mobile app for use in the Clinical Trial (Phases IIb, III) of an ophthalmology drug. Passionate about applying deep enterprise software experience to help transform Healthcare.
